FUN With Bleach!

I saw these cute shirts here a few weeks ago and it's been on my
"To Do" list to try my hand at it.  Well, I finally got around to crossing it off of my list!

I decided I would try it out with a maternity tank (I'll be having my baby girl in about two weeks, so I thought, if I screw this up, no big loss).  I have always loved the tanks that say, "Rock the Bump," but never wanted to pay the ridiculous price for one.  So, that was my inspiration.

I bought a Clorox Bleach Pen and got started.  I put wax paper between the front and back of the shirt to protect it from the bleach running through.  I also put some newspaper down to protect the table, because I wanted to be EXTRA safe!  Then, I just used the pen to draw on the shirt.
I let the shirt sit for maybe 10 minutes or so, then rinsed the bleach off with cold water...
Then I washed and dried it like I normally would and homemade "Rock the Bump" shirt!  :)  Pretty good for my first attempt, I think!

I realize that this is backwards, my apologies, but I didn't have anyone to take a pic of me, so I had to resort to a mirror shot...but, you get the idea, I'm sure!

Thank you! Time is flying already! I was just looking through pictures of my soon-to-be 6 year old when he came home from the hospital (sniff, sniff).
