Homemade Christmas

I have always wanted to try homemade salt scrubs...and, I thought this, the year we welcomed our third child into the world, would be the year to give it a try.  You see, Santa will be tightening the purse strings with three sets of gifts, so it's time to get frugal.  I found so many different recipes for these scrubs, but I settled on this one.  And I'll be honest, I don't measure, I go by consistency.  I like mine more salty (exfoliating) than oily, so I go easy on the oil, heavy on the salt, but you could obviously reverse it if you'd prefer.

I bought the jars online, and found these cute Merry Christmas labels here, she has so many cute things! I added a label for ingredients, a cute ribbon and done!!

Ingredients:

Epsom Salt
Dead Sea Salt
Sweet Almond Oil
Essential Oil (I use 4-5 drops for 4 oz. jar)

Easy!  These make great gifts for teachers, hairstylists, babysitters, neighbors, etc.

  3. I agree with you on the mixing. I like more salty and less oil. I also understand the cost of things needing to be less. It seems that things continue to rise in cost and pay checks don't seem to go as far. Congratualtions on your third child on it's way. Children are a blessing. As are grandchildren.
